  1. I would like to see floor plans and sections at the same time.I want to understand the total picture

  2. I would like to see a design strategy for addressing the side of this building that faces Red Hook that is as developed and complex as your strategy for optimizing the waterfront views.

  3. The model is clear, but I agree with Lia that we need to see the drawings as well. I wonder whether the large corridor leads to a major space. If not, you might improve the scheme by re-prioritizing some space. Typically hotel corridors are relatively narrow, unless they serve assembly space. It's ok to reserve the views for the restaurant and guest rooms; the occupants of those spaces are paying the rent! I'd consider boosting the experience in the public spaces as well by putting the garden on the spa roof and developing a public stair from the ground to serve it. I'd emphasize this public stair as a part of the public sequence and for and its view potential rather than the stair at the end of the guestroom corridor. Typically these stairs are more for BOH function or exiting; people won't walk stairs more than two levels.
